Good morning Cliff:
I read your comments and proposed changed but I am confused by
all the line'ing out of text.
In section 18.4, you show the (black) original text, my (red)
additions, and your (blue) changes (some of which are crossed out!)
By making your changes blue (lining included) you confuse me because
I think you are saying something then changing your mind.
Rather line out something in the original color (black, red.) Suggest
new/replacement text in blue.
The last sentence of 18.4 makes no sense with your marking - blue line
out and black lineout - one word needs to exist.
In the BNF, you have red line outs and blue line outs and black line
outs. I don't know which is what. It deletes too much text - there
is no `elseif possible within the ifdef directive (I think it's crossed
out.)
Same for ifndef - the `elseif directive is crossed out.
The text below the BNF also has black text crossed out - an entire paragraph
with a fragment of a sentence left.
Maybe my netscape (3) doesn't do this right - it is very confusing...
Maybe a simple text version would be better.
