Environment |

Description |
The last paragraph in this section states that if multiple cells with the same name map to the same library, then the LAST cell encountered shall be written to the library. This makes sense when the cells are both modules, and the one compiled second is supposed to replace the first. However, a cell can include a config as well as a module/ macromodule/primitive. So this implies that a config replaces a module of the same name and vice versa. But Section 13.1.1 talks about using the :config notation to distinguish between a config and a module with the same name. This seems to imply that you can have a module and a config with the same name. But maybe they aren't allowed to be in the same library, and this is only needed when the library_identifier is left off? Does anybody else know what was intended here? |
